I am an attorney who has been in practice since 1978. I have come by this work honestly, as my father was a practicing attorney for over 50 years and my mother was a probation officer for a period of time with the Pima county Probation Office in Arizona. Of my two brothers and one sister, I have one brother who is a practicing attorney in California and another who is a presiding Court Commissioner for Maricopa County, Arizona. I have been listed in Martindale-Hubbell as being an attorney who has an A/B rating. This rating means that among other attorneys in this region and in the country I have the highest rating which can be awarded to an attorney in practice. I have held this rating for over 10 years. I am also an active member and past President of The American Board of Trial Advocates. This is a group selected not only on merit, but on that fact that an individual must, as a prerequisite to becoming a member, try over 15 civil trials to conclusion. While I do not have an exact number, my estimate is that I have tried nearly 100 civil trial cases in the course of my career. In addition to this, I am a member of The Pima County Bar Association, The American Bar Association, The Arizona Trial Lawyers, The Arizona Defense Lawyers and the State Bar of Arizona.
My office consists of myself and my legal assistant, Jenny White, who is a long-time office professional who has a working knowledge of The Rees Law Firm and resources we provide for our clients. In many instances, she can help you with very basic questions or, provide you details regarding the status of your case.
